Have not tried it, others have, and they were having a lot of trouble last I knew. I was waiting to see if those problems resolved themselves and never heard. I also love PayPal's financial reporting monthly and annually I don't know if Braintree has that available for free.
report back about the reporting they have. I use PP for monthly sales tax reporting and of course for annual IRS reporting/taxes. One thing I like about using PayPal through out all my online selling venues is that all the reporting is in one place and PayPal reports directly to the IRS.
I just opened a Braintree account to take Credit Card payments. Its a little different then PayPal Payment Pro. Through Braintree there is no option to generate shipping labels. What do you guys use to generate shipping labels when using Braintree? I suppose I can still use PayPal shipping manually at https://www.paypal.com/shiplabel/create/
I switched over to Braintree to give it a try. It was a bit frustrating getting it set up and tested because there is a lot to manually set up, fraud parameters for example. They give you a lot of reading material but when talking to their support team wont discuss what all the settings exactly mean/do and say we wont tell you how your Auth settings should be set up because you will blame us for declines or fraud. Then there is the monthly reporting. I need to figure out how to handle the monthly reporting and incorporate it into my PayPal reporting for monthly and annual state and federal reporting. I did get one credit card sale that used Braintree last month, I need to work on reporting over the next few days. Braintree doesn't handle shipping labels, it is only a payment processor so you need to figure out where you will be printing your labels for non PayPal payments. PayPal reporting is so much nicer looking and easier to understand then the Braintree reports.
